Job summary

Butler America Aerospace L.L.C. is seeking an Electrical Engineer in Bloomfield, CT. The contract is for 12 months and offers a pay range of $60-66 per hour. Responsibilities include developing hardware and software for elevator control systems, creating test processes, and quality investigations.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in Embedded Hardware, Software, and Firmware design.
• Working knowledge of programming languages in embedded design.
• Direct PCBA design experience for custom microprocessor/DSP based boards.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop hardware and software for elevator control systems.
• Lead investigation of field turnbacks and perform root cause analysis.
• Support parts availability and sourcing sustainment for manufacturers.

Skills

Embedded Hardware design

Programming languages (C, VB.NET, C#, C++, Assembly, MATLAB)

Electrical Engineering knowledge

Fluency with CAD tools (Altium, Orcad, KiCAD)

Technical leadership

Strong communication skills
