ProMach, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer (Electrical Designer) in Washington, MO. The role focuses on creating schematics, panel layouts, and machine documentation while collaborating with controls and assembly teams to start up and test new machinery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year degree in related field.
• 2+ years’ experience in electrical design.
• Experience with PLCs, servo applications and machine controls preferred.
• Ability to read diagrams/jac/mathematical instructions and to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Create schematics, panel layout and machine documentation.
• Assist electrical controls and assembly leads with startup, testing and debugging of machines.
• Support customer site start-up and troubleshooting as needed.
• Design electrical control systems with controls engineers.
• Create/ update electrical/pneumatic schematics in Electrical CAD.
• Size and specify components; create BOMs.
• Provide startup and field service support for troubleshooting.
• Assist in product/component evaluations and improvements.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
