Job summary

Clark Nexsen, a JMT Company, seeks an Electrical Engineer EIT to assist in the design, analysis, and layout of electrical systems for building projects across commercial, higher education and government facilities. Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an ABET-accredited 4 or 5-year engineering program in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering (Electrical focus), Electrical Engineering Technology, or Architectural Engineering Technology (Electrical focus)
• Must have earned the designation of EI or EIT in at least one US state
• Pursuing Professional Engineer licensure (PE) within 12 months of eligibility
• Preferred understanding of sustainable design principles and LEED/Well Building standards

Responsibilities

• Work with Senior Engineers, Project Managers, Managing Principals and directors to execute electrical engineering design
• Perform design analyses, calculations, equipment selection and layout for building design projects
• Coordinate with multi-discipline teams and communicate with other engineers and design team members
• Meet with clients as directed
• Prepare project documents including programming, schematic and design development designs, and construction documents
• Provide electrical support during bidding (addenda, amendments, RFIs) and during construction on-site
