Qualifications

Electrical Graduate Engineer:

Halff has an immediate opening for an Electrical Graduate Engineer supporting our MEP team. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in power and lighting design and should be capable of performing routine calculations, as well as assisting in the development of construction plans and specifications under the supervision of senior staff.

Electrical Graduate Engineer Requirements:
  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, or Architecture/Engineering.
  • Design, layout, and circuiting equipment for electrical systems, (i.e., lighting systems, HVAC and Plumbing equipment, etc.)
  • Collaborate effectively with other engineers, architects, and project stakeholders including owners
  • Working knowledge of NEC and IESNA
  • Working knowledge of ASHRAE 90.1 and IECC
Electrical Graduate Engineer Preferred Experience:
  • Three+ years of experience in engineering, designing, and producing lighting, lighting control, power distribution, and branch circuiting for Commercial, Industrial, and Institutional projects
  • Knowledge and experience with AutoCAD and REVIT (BIM); SKM Systems Analysis and Visual Tools
  • High level interpersonal relationship skills, proficiency in communication skills, organization skills, and knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to obtain the Professional Engineering (PE) license is a plus
