Position Overview:

As we expand, we're looking for a Digital Hardware Engineer who will apply their skills and experience to lead the design of custom hardware and firmware for cutting‑edge sensor and communication systems.

Location:This position is located in the Syracuse, NY office with the potential for hybrid arrangements.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement custom multi‑layer circuit cards by performing part selection, schematic design, and aiding in layout activities

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
• 0-5 years related professional experience
• Understanding of digital and analog circuits
• Experience with VHDL and/or Verilog to configure FPGAs and other embedded systems
• 10% travel

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience testing and validating analog and digital hardware using oscilloscopes, network analyzers, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, etc.
• Experience with modern Xilinx FPGAs and the Vivado design environment
• Experience with Communication and Sensor systems, Digital Signal Processing, Software Defined Radios, and RF System Design
• Experience with Matlab, Python, Linux

Salary Range: The anticipated salary range for this position based out of Syracuse, NY is estimated at $82,000 to $113,000 annually.
