Now Hiring: Electrician with CAD Experience or AutoCAD Drafter with Electrical Design Background
Are you an electrician interested in design, or a drafter passionate about electrical systems? Join our collaborative, fast-paced engineering team working on some of the most high-end residential projects in NYC and beyond.
Who We Are:
We’re a NJ-based MEP + Structural design firm specializing in ultra-luxury residential renovations and new builds. Our projects span NYC, the Tri-State area, and occasionally further. We work with leading architects to create fully custom homes with a focus on high-performance, elegant systems.
Ideal Candidates:
Option 1: Electrician with CAD (AutoCAD/Revit) experience
Option 2: AutoCAD Drafter with residential/commercial electrical design experience
1+ years of electrical design or field experience
Strong knowledge of NEC (NYC code is a plus)
Familiarity with load calculations, equipment selection, and system layout
Bonus: Experience with lighting control, backup power, solar/battery systems
Strong communication and willingness to learn
Comfortable working with architects, contractors, and consultants
Installation experience is a plus
What You’ll Do:
Design electrical systems for high-end residences
Perform site surveys and coordinate system pathways
Work closely with architects and engineers to integrate electrical needs
Prepare drawings, calculations, and specifications
Support solar and battery system development
Attend field visits (15–20%) and review construction progress
