Job summary

TYLin seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead and support electrical design for rail and transit infrastructure in Overland Park, KS. You will develop drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical documentation while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and clients.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, a PE license, and 5–10+ years of experience in electrical infrastructure and power distribution.

• Professional Engineer license (PE).
• 5–10+ years of relevant experience in electrical infrastructure and power distribution design.

Responsibilities

Job description

Lead and support electrical design for rail and transit infrastructure, including power distribution, station systems, lighting, emergency power, and facility modernization. Develop drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical documentation; coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and clients; support field and construction activities; and mentor junior staff.

Requirements:

Requires a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, a Professional Engineer license, and approximately 5-10+ years of relevant experience. Candidates should have electrical infrastructure and power distribution design experience, knowledge of NEC and applicable standards, proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit, and experience with AGi32 for lighting calculations.
