Job summary

HDT in Ohio seeks an Electrical Engineer to design, develop, implement, and analyze parts, systems, and processes. You will work with a team of engineers to prepare plans, designs, computations, and reports for new and sustaining projects.

The role requires 3-5 years of related experience, CAD experience (AutoCAD/SolidWorks), knowledge of ERP/SAP, and familiarity with electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and various communication buses.

Qualifications

BS degree in Engineering required; MS degree preferred.
3-5 years related experience in electrical engineering.
Experience with PLM/PDM software; SolidWorks EPDM preferred.
ERP/MRP software proficiency; SAP preferred.
Experience developing control systems including electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and enclosure layouts; PCB experience a plus.
Experience working with engineering project management tools.
Proficient with MS Office and general business software; strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Assist design, development, implementation, and analysis of parts, systems and technical processes.
Work with a team of engineers to prepare plans, designs, computation methods and reports.
Complete designs with and direct activities of assigned designers and technicians.
Follow and enforce quality and safety standards; participate in cross-functional teams.
