Job summary

Exponential Power seeks an Electrical Engineer to design and integrate DC power systems for commercial and industrial applications. You will read customer specifications, size emergency/standby DC components, and prepare procurement specs while coordinating with engineering, sales, and vendors to drive project success.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university or equivalent work-related experience (>4 years)
• DC electrical systems design experience preferred
• Excellent communication and ability to work cross-functionally across teams

Responsibilities

• Read customer specifications or schematics to determine the necessary DC components of electrical systems including sizing and specifying emergency and standby DC systems
• Complete procurement specifications for all materials such as wiring, conduit, electrical equipment and components
• Work with other engineering disciplines, clients, and vendors to manage the overall project
• Review each assigned project with the Applications Engineering Manager and provide input and support to the engineering and sales teams throughout the duration of the project
• Deliver accurate information in design and specification of Exponential products in a professional format
