Job Summary:

ICT is looking for a personable experienced Electrical Engineer to join a multi-disciplined design team! The position will be within our Charleston, SC office, assisting in Commercial and Federal projects. This individual must be a registered Professional Engineer in the Electrical field and familiar with state‑of‑the‑art design and various state and local regulations. Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of electrical engineering principles in the field of building construction.
• Capable of increasing technical competency when seeking and executing work in new and evolving market sectors.
• Participates in preparing proposals and presentations to clients.
• Assists in the preparation or modification of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, studies, permits, and project designs.
• Visits construction site to monitor progress and other duties per contract documents.
• Checks all technical work for accuracy.
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Ability to effectively communicate with architects, owners and contractors.
• ICT encourages the growth of all our engineers to take a more responsible and leadership role based on experience.

Qualifications:

• PE in Electrical Engineering preferred, not required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience and detailed understanding of Revit is a plus.
• 7+ years of design/engineering consulting experience.
