Job summary

Anduril Industries in the Boston area is seeking Electrical Engineer Co-ops for Winter 2027. This paid, in-person internship involves designing electronics from concept to prototype, selecting hardware, PCB design, and system integration.

You'll develop low-level firmware for microcontrollers and embedded Linux, troubleshoot with lab equipment, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on active deployments and new developments.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Must be returning to school at the end of the internship to continue academic studies for at least one quarter or semester.
• Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities; U.S. clearance eligibility may be required depending on program.
• Ability to complete an in-person 16 to 24-week internship in one of our offices in winter 2027.

Responsibilities

• Design electronics from concept to functional prototype, including hardware selection, PCB design, and system level integration.
• Troubleshoot issues that span the electrical and software boundaries, with solid skills using both lab equipment and software debugging tools.
• Develop low-level firmware/software for microcontrollers, embedded Linux systems, and supporting development & testing tools.
• Work closely with other electrical, mechanical, software, firmware, and test engineers to deliver fully functional products.
• Work in a fast-paced environment supporting new developments, active deployments, and customer operated hardware.
• Concurrently manage involvement in multiple projects at various stages.
