Job summary

Anduril Industries in California is seeking an Electrical Engineering Co-op for Winter 2027 to work on electronics design from concept to prototype. The paid, in-person internship will involve hardware selection, PCB design, and system integration, plus firmware development for microcontrollers and embedded Linux.

You’ll collaborate with electrical, mechanical, software, firmware, and test engineers in a fast-paced environment while supporting multiple projects at different stages.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Must be returning to school at the end of the internship to continue academic studies for at least one quarter or semester.
• Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities; U.S. clearance eligibility may be required depending on program.
• Ability to complete an in-person 16 to 24-week internship in one of our offices in winter 2027.

Responsibilities

• Design electronics from concept to functional prototype, including hardware selection, PCB design, and system level integration.
• Troubleshoot issues spanning electrical and software boundaries using lab equipment and software debugging tools.
• Develop low-level firmware/software for microcontrollers, embedded Linux systems, and supporting development & testing tools.
• Work with cross-disciplinary engineers to deliver fully functional products.
• Support new developments, active deployments, and customer operated hardware.
• Concurrently manage involvement in multiple projects at various stages.
