Job summary

HDR is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the Building Engineering Services Group in California (Walnut Creek or Folsom). You will design electrical installations for diverse facilities, coordinate with multi-discipline teams, and prepare drawings, specs, and calculations for construction documents.

Applicants should have a PE/P.Eng license and at least 5 years of electrical design experience in buildings, with proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SKM, AGI and EasyPower.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis.
• PE or P.Eng license is required.
• Minimum of 5 years electrical design experience for buildings (lighting/power/systems).

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design work for small to mid-sized institutional/industrial projects.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary design teams through planning to construction documents.

Education
