Job summary

The Mechanicsburg, PA office of Modjeski and Masters is seeking an Electrical Engineer with experience in Electrical Power and Control Design.

Responsibilities include leading electrical design projects, developing wiring diagrams, field inspections, and supporting movable bridge projects across offices. The role requires mentoring, strong communication, and CAD proficiency; a hybrid work environment is offered.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field from ABET-accredited college.
• Minimum of 4 years electrical power and control design experience.
• PE license preferred but not required; ability to obtain within 4 years.
• Mentor junior engineers and work with strong work ethic.
• Experience in CAD tools and electrical calculations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design projects for movable bridge and related systems.
• Design electrical control systems for manual, automatic, or remotely controlled operations.
• Develop power distribution for lighting and transportation facilities.
• Create wiring diagrams and component details.
• Perform field inspections and write reports; support start-up procedures.
