We are hiring an Electrical Engineer with expertise in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) to support the design and execution of renewable energy projects. Based in or near Arlington, VA (with hybrid flexibility), this role involves leading BESS-focused electrical engineering work, interpreting technical schematics, and coordinating with consultants and field teams to ensure efficient project delivery. You will play a key role in expanding clean energy infrastructure while working closely with cross-functional teams and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and direct the electrical consultants for the design of projects.
• Analyze and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment in renewable energy projects.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
• Monitor and report on the performance of electrical systems, identifying areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Prepare weekly and annual plans for the electrical team.
• Provide technical support and guidance to other team members and stakeholders.
• Participate in the commissioning and testing of new electrical installations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and maintenance practices.
