Electrical Engineer, Altoona, PA Office

Job Summary:
The EADS Group is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support our growing Electrical Department headquartered in the Altoona Office. Qualified candidates will work independently but closely with other engineering disciplines along with Professional Engineers, Architects, and Technicians to support them from an electrical standpoint.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and providing electrical solutions for several sectors, including both private and public. Work tasks include identification, analysis, and resolution of electrical problems, engineering calculations, preparing specifications, and estimates, along developing construction and code drawings.

Here’s what you’ll need:

• BS Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD
• Excellent communication skills and confidence working in a team-based atmosphere

• A working knowledge of building codes, building power, and light design is preferred
