Barry-Wehmiller Converting is growing, and Electrical Engineer positions are available at all levels. These roles are primarily hybrid at our Green Bay facility, with onsite and hybrid opportunities in Waukesha and Madison.
Relocation assistance may be available for candidates outside a commutable distance. The Electrical Engineer will use engineering principles and CAD tools to design, develop, and maintain electrical control systems focused on safety, reliability, quality, and sustainability.

The Electrical Engineer will use engineering principles and design software to design, develop, and maintain electrical control systems and/or components to required specifications, focusing on economy, safety, reliability, quality, and sustainability.
Assist the design team in machinery design from inception to completion that is extensive and complex, involving original design work and selection of components and materials.
Develop engineering specifications and original design concepts.
Provide detailed technical analysis of equipment.
Provide machine process audits and make recommendations to improve line efficiencies.
Test and debug equipment to isolate defects
Prepare layouts using CAD tools
Evaluate moderately complex designs; make engineering changes
Evaluate new parts
Prepare schematics, assemblies, detailed drawings, and bills of material (BOM) for moderately complex equipment
Supportmanufacturing/assemblyteams
May travel to customer site to support field teams with technical assistance as required
Other duties as assigned
