Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering with system-level design and testing.
  • Sum up and verify requirements based on physics-based models.
  • Experience with analog and digital electronics design, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Laboratory skills for setting up and running experiments.
  • Familiarity with PCB design tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary engineering team.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and test electronics for airborne EO/IR systems (sensor electronics, interfaces, power management).
  • Support systems engineering to define requirements based on sensor performance models.
  • Assist in PCB layout design with the EE team.
  • Perform system testing at lab, ground, and flight levels and analyze data.
  • Troubleshoot components and subsystems for optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with leads and project teams on system integration.
  • Document test results, designs, and processes for records.
