Job summary

CSAT Solutions LP in Houston, TX is seeking a senior Electrical Engineer to provide engineering expertise across AI servers, GPU platforms, and high-performance computing equipment. You will diagnose failures, support NPI, and drive continuous improvement in hardware design, test methods, and repair procedures.

You will lead cross-functional investigations with Operations, Quality, and customer teams, develop training materials, and mentor technicians while leveraging data-driven troubleshooting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• Minimum five years of engineering experience in electronics/manufacturing or high-tech service operations; AI server experience preferred.
• Experience leading NPI, engineering validation, and production readiness.
• Strong knowledge of component-level troubleshooting and power systems.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical engineering expertise for diagnosis, repair, testing, and continuous improvement of AI servers and HPC equipment.
• Lead projects to identify electrical and hardware design issues and implement containment and corrective actions.
• Develop advanced electrical troubleshooting and root-cause analysis across system, board, and component levels.
• Analyze schematics, PCB layouts, and firmware interactions to isolate hardware failures.
• Maintain closed-loop failure analysis knowledge management and translate findings into improved diagnostics and procedures.
• Lead investigations and provide technical recommendations to Operations, Quality, and customers.
• Create engineering training materials and troubleshooting guides for new platforms and revisions.
• Support NPI activities, tooling, documentation, and technician training requirements.
• Direct and mentor engineering technicians on analysis, testing, prototyping, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Support CAPA, FMEA, DOE, and other structured problem-solving activities.
