Job summary

TECHEAD is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer for a direct hire onsite role in the Dayton, OH area. The successful candidate will design electrical and communications systems for vehicles, perform analyses, and support integration and testing across multi-functional teams.

Responsibilities include documenting designs, presenting to customers, and producing technical white papers. A BS or MS in electrical engineering with 4+ years of relevant experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical/electromechanical engineering with 4+ years of experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including design documentation.
• Solid working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Experience in military or commercial vehicle systems, control systems, power distribution and conversion, safety systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed design of integrated electrical and communications systems on vehicles.
• Perform analysis, integration, and testing.
• Contribute to concept development with cross-functional teams including prototyping and production support.
• Prepare high-quality engineering documentation such as drawings, presentations, specifications, and design presentations for customers.
• Produce technical white papers and brief management/customers on progress.
• Manage design change documentation via engineering change notices/proposals.
