Jacobs in Santa Clara, CA is seeking an Intermediate Electrical Engineer to join our collaborative engineering team supporting next-generation semiconductor fabrication tools. In this role, you’ll manage electrical power distribution across complex, active facilities—helping ensure safe, accurate, and reliable system performance.

You’ll develop and review electrical layouts using CAD/BIM tools, analyze loading on switchboards and distribution boards, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3+ years of related electrical engineering experience.
• Experience with SKM PTW or similar power analysis tools.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).

What You’ll Do

Here’s what you’ll need

• Bachelor’s or Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3+ years of related electrical engineering experience.
• Experience with SKM PTW or similar power analysis tools.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
• Visa Sponsorship is not available for this role

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
• Experience with Revit or other BIM tools
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Fast learner with a growth mindset.

The base salary range for this position is $75,600.00 to $135,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
