Job summary

Parker Aerospace is seeking an Electrical Engineer 3 in Akron, OH to sustain technically sound, marketable products and lead design efforts across multiple platforms. Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and a minimum of 8 years' experience.
  • Solid experience with Power Electronics, knowledge of Manufacturing Test, PCB Layouts and IPC Standards.
  • Extensive Circuit Analysis, Testing and Troubleshooting experience.
  • Knowledge of software applications: Altium, Jira, DOORS, Matlab, LABVIEW, LTSpice, pSPICE.

Qualifications

  • Solid experience with Power Electronics, knowledge of Manufacturing Test, PCB Layouts and IPC Standards
  • Extensive Circuit Analysis, Testing and Troubleshooting experience
  • Knowledge of these software applications a plus: Altium, Jira, DOORS, Matlab, LABVIEW, LTSpice, pSPICE
  • Experience and proficient at working across functions within the organization.
  • Experience in working in a multi-cultural / diverse organization - preferred
  • Willing to challenge the status quo – preferred
  • Complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories and concepts in the field of electronics
  • Experience with designing for, testing and resolving DO-160 EMC requirements
