Job summary

Zobility in Haltom City, TX is seeking a production technician to follow blueprints and test systems, ensuring tolerances and specifications are met. You will document production activities, perform repairs, and participate in Continuous Improvement and EHS activities.

• Experience following blueprints, guidelines, and diagrams.
• Ability to test and modify mechanical/electromechanical systems with measuring tools.
• Accurate documentation and compliance with standard procedures.

Responsibilities

• Follow blueprints and diagrams to meet product specifications and tolerances.
• Test and modify systems using measuring and diagnostic tools.
• Maintain production records and report issues per procedures.
• Ensure systems meet specifications and perform required reworks.
• Disassemble, repair, and assemble products per specifications.
• Complete production documentation and manage labor transitions.
• Support EHS, Quality, and CI guidelines and safety activities.
• May train and mentor new technicians.
• Lift up to 35 pounds; use lift assist or buddy system for heavier loads.
• Schedule: Mon–Thu 3:00 PM–01:30 AM.

Job description

• Follows blueprints, guidelines, and/or diagrams to ensure product specifications and tolerance levels are met.
• Uses measuring and diagnostic tools to test and modify systems and components/assemblies
• Maintains records of production and reports any issues while following standard procedures.
• Ensures systems and components/assemblies meet established specifications.
• Reworks and repairs various mechanical and electromechanical systems and components/assemblies as needed.
• May learn how to disassemble, repair, and assemble product according to specifications.
• Accurately complete production documentation and performs necessary labor transitions.
• Support and follow all rules/guidelines/standards set by EHS, Quality, and CI functions as set by your leader and position.
• Actively participate in the Continuous Improvement process as well as safety related activities.
• May train and mentor new technicians.
• Able to lift to 35 pounds. Employees will utilize a lift assist or buddy system if greater than 35 pounds.
• May be required to work over 40 hours per week as scheduled to meet business needs.
• The schedule for this position is Monday through Thursday 3:00pm - 01:30am
