Collins Aerospace in Uniontown, Ohio, is seeking an entry-level Electrical Engineer to join the engineering team. You will help design, test, and support electronic control systems for aerospace products, working with experienced engineers in a collaborative environment.

This onsite role offers hands-on experience with ice protection and power systems, mentorship from seasoned staff, and opportunities to contribute to real-world aircraft technology from day one.

Responsibilities

  • Support design, development, and documentation of electronic control systems for aerospace products.
  • Build, prototype, debug, and evaluate electronic hardware; plan and document testing.
  • Operate laboratory equipment; collect and analyze test data; communicate results.
  • Design, build, and maintain electrical test equipment for development and manufacturing.
  • Troubleshoot circuits using oscilloscopes, DMMs, and related lab tools; support production.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams with mentorship from experienced engineers.

What You Will Do:
  • You will support the design, development, and documentation of electronic control systems for aerospace products.
  • You will build, prototype, debug, and evaluate electronic hardware and plan, execute, and document qualification and validation testing.
  • You will operate laboratory equipment, collect and analyze test data, and communicate results.
  • You will design, build, and maintain electrical test equipment used during product development and manufacturing.
  • You will troubleshoot electronic circuits using oscilloscopes, digital multimeters (DMMs), and other laboratory equipment and support sustaining engineering activities for products currently in production.
  • You will collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams while receiving mentorship from experienced engineers and technicians.
Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science, Technology,Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major obtained by start date.
  • Experience with laboratory equipment, collecting and analyzing test date, and communicating those results.

Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Hands‑on experience through coursework, internships, personal projects, or co‑ops involving electronics design, prototyping, soldering, or debugging.
  • Experience using oscilloscopes, digital multimeters (DMMs), and other electronic test equipment.
  • Interest in laboratory testing and hands‑on product development and strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Strong technical documentation and communication skills.
  • Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
