Job summary

CyberCoders in Wolcottville, IN seeks an Electrical Engineer to support R&D in developing, validating, and launching electrical systems for next‑generation commercial vehicle platforms. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field or equivalent experience
• Experience designing, testing, and troubleshooting electrical systems in a manufacturing/vehicle environment
• Proficiency with 3D CAD software for schematics and assemblies
• Knowledge of electrical diagnostics, wiring, schematics, and problem-solving methodologies (A3, 8D)
• Strong communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office

Title: Electrical Engineer
Location: Wolcottville, IN 46795
Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 DOE

As we continue to grow, we're seeking an Electrical Engineer to support our R&D team in the development, validation, integration, and launch of electrical systems and components for next-generation vehicle platforms.

What You Will Be Doing

• Support new product development projects by designing, integrating, validating, and launching electrical systems and components for commercial vehicle platforms
• Develop electrical schematics, specifications, and system designs while utilizing CAD tools to create and modify components and assemblies
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Suppliers, and Customers to evaluate requirements, resolve technical issues, and ensure successful project execution
• Provide hands-on support for installation, testing, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and continuous improvement of electrical systems including vehicle wiring, controls, HVAC, and related components
• Perform engineering analysis, inspections, and validation testing to ensure compliance with performance standards, quality requirements, and safety regulations

What You Need for This Position

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
• Experience designing, testing, and troubleshooting electrical systems, components, and controls within a manufacturing, automotive, or vehicle environment
• Proficiency with 3D CAD software and the ability to modify components and assemblies
• Knowledge of electrical diagnostics, wiring systems, schematics, and engineering problem-solving methodologies such as A3, 8D, or similar tools
• Strong communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Experience with vehicle electrical systems, HVAC controls, wiper systems, or automotive diagnostics is highly preferred
