Job summary

Actalent is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our plant team in Merrill, Wisconsin. You will work with state-of-the-art equipment across Brass, Aluminum, and Steel processing, supporting processes from cold forming to finishing and collaborating with on-site electrical and mechanical engineers.

The role focuses on controls and automation with 5 years electrical experience, a Bachelor's in engineering, and familiarity with metals.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in an Electrical Engineering role.
• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering-related field.
• 1+ years of experience with metals and a working knowledge of their properties.
• Proficiency in controls and automation.
• Experience in heat treating and anodizing is advantageous.

The role involves working with state-of-the-art equipment in a facility that processes Brass, Aluminum, and Steel from approved vendors. Our manufacturing processes include Cold Forming, Annealing, Machining, Heat Treating, and Finishing.

Responsibilities

• Work with modern equipment including anodizers, paint systems, zinc plating line, and phoscoat line.
• Utilize engineering skills in machining designed for all types and shapes of metal stock.
• Collaborate with a team of electrical and mechanical engineers on site.
• Contribute to the production of casings and shells for government use.

Essential Skills

The pay range for this position is $33.60 - $40.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Merrill,WI.
