Actalent seeks an Electrical Engineer to join our on-site team in Winona, MN. The role emphasizes hands-on testing, debugging of assemblies, and collaboration with Test Engineers and leadership to improve processes and quality.

Responsibilities include training Test operators, maintaining test equipment, and contributing to Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen initiatives. Requires soldering, reading schematics, PCB testing, and at least 1 year of PCB experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience soldering on PCBs.
• Minimum of 1 year experience testing PCBs.
• Possession of an AAS or BSEE with an interest in technical work.

Responsibilities

• Perform debugging and testing of assemblies to the component level using block diagrams and schematics.
• Maintain and upkeep testing equipment.
• Troubleshoot operator issues, collaborate with leadership on training, and recommend process improvements.
• Provide training and ongoing support to Test operators.
• Communicate issues to Test Engineers or leadership.
• Assist in conducting experiments for failure analysis and root cause analysis.
• Recommend additional equipment needs for product debug areas to leadership or Test Engineers.
• Participate in Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen continuous improvement activities.
• Comply with all company security policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Work on problems of limited scope by following standard practices and procedures, building stable internal relationships.
• Learn and apply professional concepts, company policies, and procedures to resolve routine issues.
• Receive detailed instructions on all work.

Work Environment

This position is based on‑site in a manufacturing setting located in Winona. The work environment is collaborative and supportive, ensuring that all team members have the resources they need to succeed

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Winona, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.10/hr.
