Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and highly motivated Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team of professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering principles and practices, with background in the design, analysis, and implementation of transmission, distribution, or renewable projects. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.

This is a full-time benefits eligible opportunity that can be based anywhere in the U.S. The anticipated annual salary for this position is between $122,200 and $157,100 annually, dependent upon qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Design and analyze transmission, distribution and renewable projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
  • Develop and execute project plans, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Conduct electrical system simulations and modeling to optimize performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution, from initial planning through to commissioning.
  • Prepare and review technical documents, including design specifications, drawings, and reports.
  • Monitor project progress, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Stay abreast of technological advancements and regulatory changes in the power and renewable sectors.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards throughout all phases of project development and execution.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
  • 5-9 years of progressive experience in electrical engineering related to distribution, transmission, or renewable energy projects.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in electrical engineering software tools, such as PLS-CADD, PVsyst, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of national and international energy sector standards and regulations.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
