You will bring 11+ years in PLC programming (Schneider Electric preferred), Modbus/DNP3 expertise, Ignition SCADA and HMI development, and strong utility-scale energy project experience, including BESS and energy storage tech.
About the role:
We're looking for an Electrical Engineer on behalf of our client. This is a 1-year contract assignment.(W-2) You will provide high-level expertise in system design, grid optimization, and technical risk management. Work with customer leadership to guide engineering strategies, solve complex challenges, and ensure long-term infrastructure resilience. You would have an advanced experience in system integration, and risk management, ensuring project success from conception through execution.
Location: Remote with trips to Juno Beach, FL 33408
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-level oversight of engineering and project execution, negotiate technical and regulatory requirements, and influence executive-level project decisions.
