  • BS Degree in electrical engineering or similar
  • 2+ years engineering experience
  • Electrical system design (control panels, power distribution, safety circuits)
  • BOM structuring and configuration management
  • Understanding of system integration (electrical + mechanical + software)
  • Knowledge of global standards (EN, IEC, ASME A17.1)
  • Root cause analysis and problem solving
  • Hands-on experience with PLM tools (Windchill, or similar)
  • Engineering change management (ECR/ECN)
  • Familiarity with stage-gate/NPI processes
  • Data accuracy and structured documentation mindset
  • Accountability for deliverables and deadlines
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork

Responsibilities

Otis is looking for an Electrical Engineer to execute and support electrical engineering activities for elevator systems across the product lifecycle, with a primary focus on New Product Introduction (NPI) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM). On a typical day you will:
