Job summary

Snap Inc. seeks an Electrical Engineer to join the Spectacles team. You will own schematic design, test, and validation for PCB and related hardware, collaborating with senior engineers across hardware, RF and firmware.

The role focuses on robust design, prototyping, and cross‑functional execution. The position requires analysis of power quality and signal integrity, development of prototypes for new concepts, and frequent collaboration with engineering teams.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of experience in electrical or hardware engineering.
• MS in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own schematic design, circuit review, and layout for PCB, flex, and rigid‑flex designs.
• Test and validate electrical designs.
• Debug hardware issues including power quality and high‑speed signal integrity.
• Analyze circuits across process, variability, and temperature.
• Develop prototypes for new product concepts.
• Collaborate with RF, product design, firmware, and cross‑functional teams.
• Travel up to 20% to support development builds with suppliers and partners.

The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These pay zones may be modified in the future.Zone A (CA, WA, NYC) :The base salary range for this position is $107,000-$161,000 annually.Zone B :The base salary range for this position is $102,000-$153,000 annually.Zone C :The base salary range for this position is $91,000-$137,000 annually.This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
