The Fountain Group is seeking an Electrical Engineer for a 12-month contract in Plano, TX. The role pays $36–$39/hour and supports manufacturing operations, troubleshooting electrical and automated production equipment.

You will develop and optimize electrical test systems and processes, perform data analysis, participate in root cause investigations, and implement sustainable improvements while ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.

Electrical Engineer

Location: Plano, TX
Pay Rate: $36–$39/hour
Duration: 12-Month Contract

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing operations by troubleshooting electrical and automated production equipment.

• Develop, maintain, and optimize electrical test systems and manufacturing processes.

• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance equipment performance, reliability, and productivity.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and implement corrective actions.

• Analyze equipment and process data to identify improvement opportunities.

• Assist with root cause investigations and implement sustainable solutions.

• Ensure equipment and processes comply with applicable quality system and regulatory requirements.

• Support equipment qualifications, validations, and process improvement projects.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.

• 3–5 years of relevant engineering experiencesupporting manufacturing operations in a regulated or high-volume production environment.

• Experience with automated test equipment (ATE), data acquisition systems, or manufacturing testers.

• Proficiency using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other electrical diagnostic tools.

• Familiarity with electrical schematics and circuit troubleshooting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, biotech, or other regulated manufacturing environments.

• Experience with equipment validation, qualification, or process validation activities.

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
