NEC is seeking qualified applicants for an Electrical Engineer position. This position will provide analysis and design support on ORNL electrical infrastructure projects in multiple facilities including High Performance Computing (HPC) facilities. The HPC facilities at ORNL are the largest user of electrical power at ORNL, with over 100MW of installed electrical capacity at 7 separate data centers. These facilities require safe and reliable electric power to support the national security and scientific research missions of ORNL. The ideal candidate would have 5+ years of experience in a data center construction/renovation or other power and cooling related infrastructure projects.
Bachelor’s degree minimum in electrical engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
