Holt Technical Staffing is assisting an established engineering business in Norfolk, VA to recruit an Electrical Engineer. You will contribute across the full product lifecycle, from design and documentation through testing, production support and continuous improvement, collaborating with engineering, manufacturing and quality teams.

Ideal candidates have hands-on electrical design experience in regulated industries and can produce schematics, write procedures, and support prototyping and field

Are you an Electrical Engineer looking for a role where you can work across the full product lifecycle—not just sit behind a desk?

We're recruiting on behalf of an established engineering business that designs and supports complex electrical and electronic systems for demanding industrial applications.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative engineering team where you'll contribute to everything from design and documentation through to testing, production support and continuous improvement.

What You'll Be Doing

• Designing electrical and electronic assemblies and producing schematics and wiring diagrams
• Developing technical documentation, installation procedures and maintenance instructions
• Supporting prototype builds, testing and product introduction
• Troubleshooting electrical and electronic systems during production and field support
• Working closely with engineering, manufacturing and quality teams to deliver practical engineering solutions

What We're Looking For

You’ll ideally have experience with:

• Electrical design and engineering documentation
• Schematics, wiring diagrams and cable documentation
• Electrical testing, fault-finding and troubleshooting
• Technical writing and producing installation or maintenance procedures
• Supporting manufacturing or engineering projects within a regulated industry
