Job summary

Town & Country Engineering, Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking a licensed electrical engineer with 5+ years of experience in electrical power and SCADA design for municipal projects.

You will design electrical systems, specify equipment, and coordinate with process, HVAC, and building teams. You should be proficient in AutoCAD MEP and Revit, have strong communication skills, and be eligible for a Wisconsin PE or Designer of Engineering Systems license within six months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in electrical power and/or SCADA design and construction
• Skilled in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD MEP, and Revit
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work with clients, contractors, regulatory agencies, and internal staff
• Current Wisconsin PE or Designer of Engineering Systems license or ability to obtain within 6 months
• Desire to work in the consulting industry
• Experience in municipal water and wastewater markets and understanding of water/wastewater processes from an electrical standpoint

Responsibilities

• Design portions of a project related to electrical systems and code requirements, including power, lighting, instrumentation, and controls
• Research commercially available equipment and specify equipment needs based on project requirements
• Calculate costs for proposed work and monitor costs throughout all design phases
• Coordinate design and schedule with other disciplines such as process, HVAC, mechanical, administrative, and equipment suppliers
• Conduct periodic site observations and other services required by the contract service agreement

Role Description
