Job summary

Talent Pros Recruiting Specialists is assisting a Madison-area consulting engineering firm in its search for a Senior Electrical Engineer/Designer. The role focuses on electrical systems for water and wastewater projects, including power, lighting, instrumentation, and controls.

The candidate will design, specify equipment, estimate costs, coordinate with other disciplines, and perform site observations. A Wisconsin PE or Designer license is preferred and 5+ years of experience in electrical

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in electrical power and/or SCADA design and construction.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Wisconsin PE or Designer license or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems including power, lighting, instrumentation, and controls.
• Research equipment and specify needs based on project requirements.
• Estimate costs and monitor expenses across design phases.
• Coordinate design and scheduling with process, HVAC, mechanical teams and suppliers.
• Conduct periodic site observations and contract-required services.
