Job summary

Actalent is seeking a hardware design engineer to design and analyze analog and digital circuits for spaceflight and robotics, and to develop power systems and motor drivers.

You will lead prototype development, perform lab testing, and document engineering designs for manufacturing in a lab environment in California.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering required.
• 2–7 years hardware design experience required.
• Proficiency with PCB layout tools (Altium) required.
• Hands-on lab experience with oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers required.

Job description

You will design and analyze analog and digital circuits for spaceflight and robotics systems while developing power systems and motor drivers. Additionally, you will lead prototype development, perform hardware testing in a lab environment, and document engineering designs for manufacturing.

Requirements: Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and possess 2–7 years of experience in hardware design. Proficiency in PCB layout tools like Altium and hands-on experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers is required.
