Job summary

DesignForce in Hanover, MD is seeking an Electrical Engineer with 5+ years of experience to contribute to sustainable building projects across retail, data centers, hospitality, and workplace environments.

You will design electrical systems, support electrification initiatives, and collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients from concept to construction, using Revit and AutoCAD to produce models and documentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (required).
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in electrical engineering or building systems design.
  • EIT and/or PE preferred.
  • Proficiency with Revit; knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience designing power distribution and lighting for commercial or institutional buildings.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative, proactive approach to teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to building electrification and decarbonization initiatives that move the industry forward.
