Job summary

TVH is seeking an Electrical Engineer in Grayslake, IL to develop hardware- and software-based electronic devices for material handling vehicles and related equipment. You will analyze circuits, create schematics, and develop embedded code across embedded C/C++ platforms.

The role requires a four-year degree, knowledge of electrical theory and PCB design, and experience with lab equipment. Collaboration with manufacturing and external vendors is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Strong knowledge of electrical theory and embedded software concepts.
• Experience in embedded C/C++ programming.
• Familiarity with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.

Responsibilities

• Develop hardware- and software-based electronic devices.

Electrical EngineerFull-time | Engineering |Grayslake, ILAs an Electrical Engineer, you'll support the research, design, and development of our electrical products — primarily for material handling vehicles, with applications extending to related machinery such as aerial lifts and agricultural equipment. Apply today!YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop hardware- and software-based electronic devicesAnalyze and define the circuit/system under examinationCreate schematics and other drawings describing the unit under examinationDefine inputs and outputs (voltage, current, waveforms)Develop algorithms based on device input and output requirementsDevelop embedded code using Assembly, C, and/or C++Implement algorithms on programmed embedded devicesSelect components based on electrical design principlesDesign PC boards using EDA CAD softwareTest prototypes to validate correct operationGenerate and release product technical documentation, including schematic diagrams, BOMs, PCB files, assembly instructions, and test proceduresInterface with manufacturing departments and external vendors to facilitate production of the designPerform other duties as assignedHOW TO SUCCEED / YOUR PROFILEWe’re looking for someone who can come up with simple solutions to complex problems.
