Job description

We’re partnering with a fast-growing renewable energy developer to find a versatile Electrical Engineer to join their team. This fully remote role offers exposure to a broad range of high-voltage electrical engineering activities from design and relay settings to operations support and field troubleshooting.

Whether your experience is rooted in design and analysis or field testing and commissioning, this role offers flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to contribute to meaningful utility-scale renewable energy projects across the U.S.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and troubleshoot high-voltage electrical systems (relays, transformers, faults, etc.)

  • Support project design, relay coordination, and protection settings

  • Review and enhance electrical design packages in coordination with consultants and internal teams

  • Contribute to fault studies, arc flash analysis, and protection schemes

  • Assist with project scoping, planning, and budgeting

  • Utilize tools like ETAP, Doble test sets, and RTACs (experience helpful but not required)

Requirements
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

  • Minimum 5 years' experience working with high-voltage systems
