Job summary

Panelmatic, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to design and implement utility grade electrical power systems for a manufacturing environment.

You will lead the design of switchgear packages, perform technical reviews, and release BOMs for purchasing and fabrication. The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering, manufacturing experience, and strong communication skills in a multi-project setting.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of comprehensive electrical packages for switchgear projects (one-lines, three-lines, schematics, wiring diagrams, BOMs).
  • Conduct a technical review of projects.
  • Release bill of material for purchasing and fabrication.
  • Incorporate new product designs and modifications into production engineering systems.
  • Support product development for modeling and design for manufacturing (DFM).
  • Assist in creating and maintaining standard designs and configurations.
  • Provide manufacturing support for product and project questions and issues.
  • Provide technical, purchasing and sourcing support as required.
  • Mentor other engineers on the team.
  • Collaborate with mechanical engineering, project management and customers as needed.
  • Communicate job status and potential issues to supervisor.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of engineering systems and processes.

Job Summary:

Panelmatic is seeking a detail-oriented experienced Electrical Engineer. The Electrical Engineer will design and implement utility grade, industrial, commercial, and domestic electrical power systems.

Job Duties:

  • Lead the design and development of comprehensive electrical packages for switchgear projects (e.g., one-lines, three-lines, schematics, wiring diagrams, BOMs).

  • Conduct a technical review of project

  • Release bill of material for purchasing and fabrication

  • Receive new product designs, product modifications and implement the new designs/changes into production engineering systems

  • Provide support to product development for modeling and DFM (design for manufacturing)

  • Support the creation and maintenance of standard designs and configurations

  • Provide support to manufacturing regarding product and project questions and issues

  • Provide technical support, purchasing and strategic sourcing as required

  • Mentor others on the engineering team

  • Interact with mechanical engineering, project management and customers as required

  • Communicate job status, including possible issues, with supervisor

  • Support the creation and maintenance of engineering systems and processes

  • BS in Electrical Engineering or a similar degree required

  • Experience in an engineering role in a manufacturing environment
