A leading engineering firm in Fort Walton Beach is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to evaluate and design electrical systems for aviation. Candidates should have a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and at least 5 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include testing electrical systems and generating wiring diagrams. • Experience with AS50881 standards.
• Aircraft experience required.

Base pay range

$60.00/hr - $65.00/hr

Location: Fort Walton Beach, FL

Responsibilities

• Evaluation of existing electrical systems, components, and applications through testing and implementation
• Design, build and test of electrical components and systems
• Design conceptual wiring diagrams, and release detailed wiring diagrams
• EMC segregation routes as a function of the signal type
• EMI protection implementation
• Wires/cables selection to satisfy signal type, current, voltage, EMC, and EMI aircraft requirements

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in design of electrical systems for aviation
• Aircraft Experience
• AutoCAD
• AS50881 experience
• SolidWorks Electrical / 3D modeling and diagramming – Highly Preferred
