Base pay range
$30.00/hr - $35.00/hr
Responsibilities
- Review and understand engineering drawings to support assembly and testing of products.
- Perform kitting of parts as required for assembly.
- Perform electromechanical fabrication to include harness builds and wiring of electronic assemblies. This includes all types of harnesses RF, Multi conductor, Ethernet, Video, and power.
- Perform mechanical fabrication to include assembly of hatches, base kits, and various other mechanical assemblies.
- Preform assembly, troubleshooting, testing, soldering, and repairs of various components.
- Test and inspect in-process and completed products.
Qualifications
- Satisfy one of the following (either A or B):
- A. 10+ years’ work aviation production experience or equivalent experience in the avionics field (cabling, wiring,
- B. Bachelor’s degree in any of the following: Aviation related Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Aeronautics.
- Familiar with test equipment such as oscilloscope, multimeter, calipers, micrometers.
- Experience and training in AS9100 and ISO 9000 QMS and writing accompanying procedures.
- Proficiency with personal computers and networking.
- Analyze Manufacturing Drawings and BOM to understand material and logistical requirements.
- Potential Travel to Alaska, Hawaii, UK and Europe.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and test instrumentation / Experience in using SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
- Experience with troubleshooting individual components and full system integrations.
- Familiar with Harness Related Mil Specs.
