Job summary

Shinkei is looking for an Electrical Engineer based in El Segundo, California. Job description

What You’ll Do
  • Design and integrate electrical power systems and electrical wiring & interconnection systems (EWIS), including high-power distribution, motor drives, hydraulics, energy storage, and production-ready harness architectures
  • Develop and release system schematics, block diagrams, interconnects, and wire diagrams, supporting full lifecycle from concept, production, and sustainment.
  • Lead harness design, component selection, and integration, including connectors, backshells, shielding, grounding, and sealing for harsh marine environments
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, software, manufacturing, and compliance teams to optimize SWaP, reliability, EMI/EMC, and environmental robustness
  • Support design reviews, first article builds, supplier engagement, and test/qualification activities, ensuring performance and compliance with applicable standards
  • Operate effectively in a fast-paced, multi-program environment, supporting new development, production, and fielded hardware
