Job summary

Westrock Coffee Company is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support manufacturing operations by designing, maintaining, and improving electrical systems, controls, and equipment across the Conway facility. This role provides technical expertise for Maintenance and Reliability processes and supports plant capital projects.

The engineer will work with Operations, Health and Safety, Engineering, QA, and external vendors to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant electrical performance that drives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline or related technical area.
• Five years of project engineering experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience managing projects with a scope > $2M.
• Extensive project management experience handling interdisciplinary projects.
• Ability to read and develop Process Flow and P&ID diagrams; read architectural, electrical, plumbing and mechanical drawings.
• Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Project, Outlook, and Visio; AutoCAD LT or similar CAD.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering expertise for problem analysis and resolution.
• Plan, organize, estimate, schedule, and monitor work activities.
• Produce thorough technical reports, calculations, and sketches.
• Continuously improve engineering knowledge, skills and performance.

Job description

The Electrical Engineer supports manufacturing operations by designing, maintaining, and improving electrical systems, controls, and equipment across the facility. This role provides technical expertise for Maintenance and Reliability processes in the plant while providing support to plant capital projects. Critical to this role is proficiency in troubleshooting, performing system upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives. The Electrical Engineer partners with Operations, Health and Safety , Engineering, QA, and external vendors to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant electrical performance that supports production efficiency and business objectives.

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Engineering/technical expertise and guidance in the identification, analysis, and resolution of problems
• Effective planning, organizing, estimating, scheduling, and monitoring of work activities
• Thorough and accurate technical reports, correspondence, documentation, calculations, and sketches
• Continuous improvement of job-related, engineering, technical and professional knowledge, skills, and performance
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Accurate records and files
• Performs other assigned duties as deemed necessary by their supervisor

Essential Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or greater in an Engineering discipline (or similar technical area)
• Five years of project engineering experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience managing projects with a scope in excess of (2M dollars)
• Extensive Project Management Experience managing interdisciplinary projects
• Ability to read and develop Process Flow and Piping and Instrumentation diagrams; ability to read and interpret Architectural, Electrical, Plumbing, and Mechanical drawings
• Work with minimal guidance
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Project, Outlook & Visio
• Advanced understanding and functional use of AutoCAD LT or similar CAD software
• Have good communication skills
• Ability to multi task
• Must have good mathematical skills
• Formal Project Management training preferred

Qualifications:

• Proven work experience as a Maintenance Electrician.
• Familiarity with industrial electrical systems and the National Electrical Code.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Physically strong and able to stand for long periods.
