Saft is seeking an Electrical Engineer to advance our electrical products, systems, and applications in the United States. The role requires U.S.

citizenship or a green card and involves designing and testing electrical systems with emphasis on safety and performance. The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 8+ years in an electrical/electronics design role, with strong CAD (EPLAN, MATLAB) skills and outstanding problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering projects and deliver on time
• Work with renewable energy sources
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and develop solutions

Job description

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer who will help us advance our electrical products, systems, and applications. The electrification of everything starts with amazing people.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• 8 years or more in an electrical/electronics design role. Must be a current practitioner.
• Proven experience in designing and testing electrical systems
• Advanced mathematical skills
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices
• Proficient in computer-aided design (CAD), EPLAN, MetLAB, and electrical engineering simulation tools
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations for electrical safety and performance
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Teams, etc.)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
• Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated on advancements in electrical engineering
