Job summary

Carolina Poly, Inc. in Chester, SC is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our manufacturing team. You will work on electrical systems including three‑phase power distribution, 480 V motors with VFDs, PLCs, and servo drives to support production.

You will install and upgrade equipment, assist maintenance, document procedures, and propose upgrades based on data analysis. A Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and one year of industrial experience are required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • AutoCAD skills related to electrical drawings.
  • Minimum one year of industrial troubleshooting/engineering experience.

Responsibilities

  • Install, upgrade, and modify electrical systems, incl. three-phase power and 480 V motors.
  • Support maintenance and production, document procedures, and propose upgrades.
  • Manage new equipment installation and coordinate modifications to existing equipment.

Carolina Poly, Inc. located in Chester, SC, is currently seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team. Carolina Poly produces several lines of plastic products including high quality trash bags and construction films. It is a facility that is part of an established nationwide manufacturing company, offering growth and advancement opportunities.

Responsibilities

The engineer will install, upgrade, modify, and work on various types of electrical systems including three‑phase power distribution, 480 V motors with variable frequency drive configurations, AC/DC drives and motors, PLCs, analog and digital circuitry, servo systems operating with multiple axes, industrial equipment networks and protocols, and human‑machine interfaces. In addition to project work, the engineer will support maintenance groups on existing equipment, document, recommend, and execute maintenance procedures, and propose upgrades based on industrial data analysis and troubleshooting results.

  • Manage new equipment installation.
  • Support maintenance and production departments.
  • Manage modifications to existing manufacturing equipment.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • AutoCAD skills with regard to electrical drawings.
  • Minimum one year of experience performing troubleshooting or engineering in an industrial environment.
