Job summary

Adecco Permanent Recruitment is seeking an innovative Electrical Engineer to join a product development team focused on autonomous systems and mission-critical technologies.

The role covers design, development, testing, and deployment of complex electrical and electro-mechanical systems for unmanned platforms. ITAR compliance and field deployment support are expected.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Robotics Engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of professional electrical engineering experience with electro-mechanical systems.
  • Experience with embedded systems and microcontroller-based design.
  • Proficient in Python and/or C++ for embedded/robotics applications.
  • Familiar with Git and Linux-based development environments.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and integrate electrical and electro-mechanical subsystems for autonomous platforms.
  • Support embedded control system development and electrical integration activities.
  • Own electrical designs through lifecycle: schematic capture, PCBA design, components, prototyping, testing, validation, deployment.
  • Develop and support mobile power systems including batteries, generators, and power electronics.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation: schematics, BOMs, test plans, build instructions.
  • Design, fabricate, troubleshoot, and validate electrical harnesses and wiring assemblies.
  • Conduct system testing, quality inspections, and verification activities.
  • Support field deployments and customer demonstrations; troubleshoot issues.
  • Collaborate with software, mechanical, manufacturing, and systems teams.
  • Participate in rapid prototyping and continuous improvement.
  • Apply EMI/EMC design principles and grounding/noise mitigation.

Job description

We are seeking an innovative and hands-on Electrical Engineer to join a product development team focused on advanced autonomous systems and mission-critical technologies. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the design, development, testing, and deployment of complex electrical and electro-mechanical systems used in unmanned and robotic platforms.

The ideal candidate is a problem solver who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, collaborating across engineering disciplines, and seeing products progress from concept through field deployment.

Key Responsibilitie
  • sDesign, develop, and integrate electrical and electro-mechanical subsystems for autonomous and robotic platforms
  • .Support embedded control system development and electrical integration activities
  • .Own electrical designs throughout the product lifecycle, including schematic capture, PCBA design, component selection, prototyping, testing, validation, and deployment
  • .Develop and support mobile power systems, including batteries, generators, power electronics, and associated infrastructure
  • .Create and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, bills of materials (BOMs), test plans, build instructions, and configuration records
  • .Design, fabricate, troubleshoot, and validate electrical harnesses and wiring assemblies
  • .Conduct system testing, quality inspections, continuity testing, bench testing, and verification activities
  • .Support field deployments, customer demonstrations, troubleshooting efforts, and technical issue resolution
  • .Collaborate with software, mechanical, manufacturing, and systems engineering teams to develop integrated solutions
  • .Participate in rapid prototyping, product iterations, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • .Apply EMI/EMC design principles, grounding strategies, and noise mitigation techniques to improve system reliability in demanding environments
Required Qualificatio
