Job summary

X4 Technology in Long Island, NY is seeking an Electrical Engineer to help design next-generation hardware across medical, industrial, consumer electronics, and connected devices. This is a majority onsite role with competitive compensation and strong mentorship, offering opportunities to move from concept to production while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

You'll work on analog, digital, mixed-signal, power, and RF circuits, prototype and test fixtures, and continue to scale

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering required or equivalent.
• 2–6 years of hands-on electrical engineering experience.
• Experience with analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit design.
• Ability to read schematics, PCB layouts, and datasheets.
• Experience troubleshooting electronics in a lab environment.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Electrical Engineer | $100K–$150K | Next-Generation Hardware | Long Island, NY | Majority Onsite

What You'll Do

• Design analog, digital, mixed-signal, power, and RF circuits
• Develop schematics, PCB layouts, cables, interconnects, and test fixtures
• Evaluate components and drive design decisions based on performance, manufacturability, and cost
• Prototype, troubleshoot, and debug complex electronic systems
• Use oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power analyzers, and other lab equipment to validate designs
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, embedded, and systems engineers throughout product development
• Participate in product architecture, technical reviews, and customer-facing engineering discussions
• Support products from concept through manufacturing

What We're Looking For

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering
• 2-6 years+ of hands-on electrical engineering experience (if you are more experienced the client are also able to consider senior engineers)
• Experience with analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit design
• Ability to read and review schematics, PCB layouts, and component datasheets
• Experience troubleshooting electronic hardware in a lab environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset

Nice to Have

• Experience with Altium Designer
• Experience with microcontrollers or embedded hardware
• Knowledge of power management, communication interfaces, and memory systems
• Manufacturing support or DFM experience
• Familiarity with military or ruggedized electronics
