Job summary

TechniPower, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer in the Bow, NH area for a long-term contract-to-hire role on-site with a client in the equipment manufacturing sector.

You will design electrical schematics, panel layouts, and system architectures for automation equipment, ensuring regulatory compliance (CE, UKCA, NFPA 79) and collaborating with mechanical/software teams on motion-control solutions. Occasional travel for installations may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with electrical focus.
• 5+ years of experience in an engineering role.
• Solidworks Electrical experience preferred.
• Experience with capital equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical schematics, panel layouts and system architecture for automation equipment.
• Own regulatory compliance for machine electrical design - CE, UKCA and NFPA 79.
• Collaborate with mechanical and software engineers on control system design using motion controllers, servo drives and custom automation components.
• Design basic PCBs.
• Occasional travel for customer installations.

In this role, you will be working as an Electrical Engineer for a client that works in the equipment manufacturing company. This position will be responsible for the electrical design of custom equipment from schematic through machine commissioning.

This position is a contract to possible hire role that is a long term need for my client. This role must be worked on-site.

Pay; $100,000-$125,000/Yr.

• Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (with an electrical focus)
• 5+ years of experience in an engineering role
• Solidworks Electrical experience preferred
• Design electrical schematics, panel layouts and system architecture for automation equipment
• Own regulatory compliance for machine electrical design - CE, UKCA and NFPA 79
• Understanding of circuits and oversee testing
• Work with mechanical and software engineers on control system design using motion controllers, servo drives and custom automation components
• Design basic PCBs
• Experience with capital equipment is preferred
• Occasional travel for customer installations
